This Post Has No Title.......

Well folks your girl has been going through a lot lately, some I've talked about and some I've kept private. My grandmother passed away a few weeks ago and I'm still reeling from that. I'm not really ready to talk about that either right now, but I do have a story that pertains to it that I think well amuse/sadden you.

I've discussed my oldest brother before. If you don't remember click here and look for the April 10th one. The day before my grandmother's funeral we had a two hour "family gathering" at the funeral home. It was held on Labor Day. Here's what went down.....

Brother:"I have nothing to wear to the funeral tomorrow",
(me being the uncaring psychic that I am already knew it would come to this. )
Me: "what the hell do you want me to do"?
Brother: "I was wondering if you can buy me something to wear"
Me: "It's 8:30pm on Labor Day. No! It took us 8 days to have this funeral and you knew 8 days ago you didn't have anything to wear!" (my grandmother's church was booked for funerals. Her Pastor could only do one per day since he's sick himself and that was one request she had.
Brother:"Well I have $50, I'm just saying....." "Do Dre or L have something I can borrow to wear".
Me: " Dre is taller than you and a thinner. L is taller than you and bigger. You can't fit their suits or shoes. Well, since Dre buys school pants and shirts bigger, I can send some over in the morning by Nel. You can also ride with her."

Well Nel gets there with the clothes. A pair of beige Dickie pants and two button up shirts. He sucks his teeth and ask her why didn't I send him a pair of shoes! WTF?!?!?!?
He then informs her that he's not going because he doesn't have the proper clothes. Now for those of you who know Nel, knows that she's not the begging kind, so she pulls off. Now mind you, I had cousins come it white tees and jeans. It's about paying your respects, not what you have on.

So later on that evening after everything was over and done with I stop buy his house to pick up my boys clothes. Hell they were brand new and I'll be damn if I leave them for him to sell. The shirts were Kenneth Cole and Polo. When I get there he comes to the truck and hands them to me. Here's the conversation.

Me: "So what happened to you"
Brother: " I didn't have any shoes. I couldn't go up in there looking like anything"/
Me: "It's never bothered you before"
Brother: "I have pride in myself"
Me: "I can't tell when your in some abandoned house sucking on a crack pipe. Anyway, it wasn't all about you. That lady sacrificed a lot for your ass and you couldn't come and pay your respect."
Brother: "Well, alright I'm going to let you go".

I pull of burning rubber.

The next day my sister calls and says "Brother said that you sent him rags to wear to the funeral." Now anyone that knows me know that my son doesn't wear any damn thing raggedy and this shit was brand new. I got her good and together right quick.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about his ass calling asking me for shit for at least 6 months. I just can't believe the nerves on his ass.

I had a lot of family drama, but this was the most stupid and full of shit one.
